Indeed — being brave enough to do what you love to make a living is incredibly admirable. So many people are trapped in a job they find banal and repetitive because it’s easy, and they are too scared to break out of their comfort zone. Your work is how you spend the majority of your time; it shouldn’t be boring. And it is a myth that your hobbies and your work have to be separate; do what you love and regardless of how much money you make, you’ll be happy. Nearly everyone I meet has something they adore, which they could probably make a career out of if they were brave enough, but few try.

I am currently a student, but my career goal is to be a ‘writer’ in whatever capacity that may be — novels, newspapers, Medium… I’m going to see where my talent takes me.
